Abbie Dyes Laughing is located in Austin, Texas. Abbie uses tie dye techniques to create clothing and accessories that combine bold colors and unique styles. Starting with Procion dyes and cloth, she creates using both liquid dyeing and ice dyeing. With these techniques and a variety of different ways to tie the materials before applying the color, Abbie is able to explore various colors and patterns, both representational and abstract. Her goal as an artist is to craft pieces that give a feeling of joy.
